Today the first beta of the 'Application Setup Center' has been released in the latest Bundle Commander build 1.1.18. The 'Application Setup Center' is a kind of 'Application Store' for Windows applications.
It's available in the 'Professional Edition' of Bundle Commander for both current customers as well as those who have requested a 30 day evaluation license for the 'Professional Edition'.
From the 'Application Setup Center' you can easily download most used free available Windows applications like 7-Zip, Audacity, Adobe AIR, CDBurnerXP, CutePDF Writer, Evernote, IrfanView, (FrontMotion) Firefox, Adobe Flash, Citrix GotoMeeting, GroupWise Win32 client, iTunes, Java Runtime Environment, Keepass, K-Lite Codec Pack, LibreOffice and OpenOffice, Opera, PDFCreator QuickTime, Adobe Reader, Safari, Shockwave, Google Chrome, TeamViewer, TweetDeck, Vibe Desktop, VLC Media Player, Windows Essentials 2012, WinRAR etc. to a pre-configured directory on a local drive or on a file share.
Instead of spending time on finding the correct download links for the latest versions of these most common Windows applications, you can now easily download their setups from the 'Application Setup Center' and build or extend your own software setup catalog. You can sort, search and filter the complete 'Application Setup Center' based on Manufacturer Name, Product Name, Version Number, Setup Type, Date on which the setup has been added to the Center or File Name.
After downloading the selected setups ...
... you can opt to create a Windows Bundle for the selected setup(s) it in order deploy the selected Windows application using 'ZENworks Configuration Management':
Bundle Commander Professional Edition is licensed per ZENworks Management Zone, per registered ZENworks device. A license is subscription based and granted for a duration of one (1) year.
